happy new blog

The light in Los Angeles can still take me by surprise. I don't know if it was the smog, or a forest fire somewhere, but the light was pink and orange at 2pm one day last week. You know those t-shirts, purple and orange and pink sunsets with California written across? Sometimes I feel like I'm living in one.
