Last night, I met Miss Kitty's friend Melanie, and we had a drink at the Beauty Bar. (Now I'll actually know what you're talking about when you refer to it, Kitty. :P)
In other news: I've just signed a lease!!
(It's on the Upper East Side, of all places. I wouldn't have looked at that part of town, but by some freak chance that particular listing popped up when I did a craigslist search. Soon, I'll be moving to a neighbourhood where I can fall out of bed and land in Prada, but have to walk 5 blocks or more before I see a grocery store...)

oh good, you two hellions met up..
was Michael there at the bar? i wish i was there with you...
now i can imagine you trundling down past Prada,
and getting to know your (nearest) bodega vendors.
yay for NYC!
wherewherewhere exactly? we lived at 91st and 2nd for a long time, and it was great (except for the strange mosquito infestation, but that's a whole other story)...
Kitty -- Don't know if he was there, cos I don't know what he looks like! :P (FYI: had a malibu pineapple.) We'll have to go again when you visit, yes? One day, the Prada staff will know me by NAME. But that'll be when I'm Crazy Ritch...
Adriana -- 68th and Madison, baby. RENT CONTROLLED. Pijus says that I've captured the unicorn of the New York real estate market. It's something of a wasteland in terms of restaurants/food etc., but is very nice area and at least all the designer boutiques are feeding my mind??
Mimi, if I were you, I would not go about telling people of this apartment of yours ... After a gruelling real estate boom, people might lynch you for such innordinate good luck! ;)
Pijus -- I remember saying to you Friday night, what if I'll see this first thing and that'll be it and it'll be perfect and I'll be done.
MIRACLES HAPPEN!
(I think I can take on a lynch mob. But it'll be helpful if you can keep your enraged colleagues away. :P)
HOLY TAMOLE!!! You really DID capture a unicorn!! That is amazing, and what more, you're right by the subway and the park and the museums. That frickin ROCKS. That is so awesome. Is it a 1 BR? No food markets around because everyone has their servants do the shopping and cooking. At least NY has a very shamefully wonderful grocery delivery system, so you might not have to ever lift a finger.
*goddamn i miss NY*
so excited for you.
a -- It's a large studio. 1 BR would be pushing it, I think. :P (I'd send you the link but the listing's been deleted...) LITERALLY Prada round the corner on Madison, not even a block away. I think I'm 2 horizontal blocks away from the Hunter College stop on the 6. Kat's been pimping Fresh Direct to me all week, and I get the feeling I'll be using their delivery services often... ^_^;
Wowzers! What luck! Good work snagging that place! When I descend on you, I will demand to be taken to all the fancy boutiques where I can fondle the merchandise and then not buy anything. It's what I do.
you unicorn snare, you./
send me your magic secrets, and DO come on out,
i will be home from Chicago on monday. lots going on, but do sincerely need me a Mimi dose.
tomorrow another 20 hour day, ouch.
ps Michael is one of the owners, Mel would have introduced you probably if he was there...
Jess -- Kat told me that she had once walked into that particular Prada store and knocked over an entire shelf of bags. So I think fondling would probably be okay. :P
Kitty -- You hang in there, you double duty girl! Don't fall off any more stairs, okay? Have fun in Chicago, and I shall hopefully be waiting for you when you get back. ;)
! Apaato omedetou! \^o^/ As a hick dwelling in the sticks I don't really know what "rent controlled" means, but since people are calling it a unicorn it can only be sparkly & beautiful.
K-chan -- Bwaa~!! 出た!わたしのブログへようこそ! *^o^* My アパート may be a unicorn, but being my アパート,
I'm sure it'll not only be sparkly & beautiful, but sparkly & cluttery & beautiful when I'm done. ^_^;;;;
*キラキラ〜*
