(April, 2006. Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.)
Steve was so kind and took us on a tour of the pretty pretty mountains, and made us dinner, and french toast for breakfast! Andrea and I also played some piano at Steve and Irene's place, sight reading, me right hand, she left hand... we certainly got better on the repeats.

Did seeing those mountains make you want to bust out a Gigapixel rig and shoot them for all they're really worth?
I'm all homesick now. *sigh* So pretty. Need to go visit sometime.
Pijus -- Call me old fashioned, but I think I'd go for a 8x10 field camera or something... though I've never been the girl to go out there with a large format camera to shoot landscapes/architecture to begin with. :P
Eeeeeka -- It *was* pretty!! The only other time I've been in Estes was for your wedding, and we really didn't go the sightseeing route then. :P Your Dad was an awesome guide and host. (He said you'd get a kick out of the dinner he made us -- spaghetti and chili.)
