Nonono, it's where you hide out with a rag-tag band of survivors when all of earth's vehicles become sentient and homicidal.

I am beginning to wonder if Mimi's long silence is an implicit confirmation of the zombie attack hypothesis! :O
Actually, I think it'd be an even better hideout for a rag-tag band of survivors when all of earth's plants turn sentient and homicidal - that pavement expanse would make a good moat (of sorts) against the trees & shrubs.
