This whole day has made me a bit homesick. Had shanghai soup dumplings for lunch with Katherine and Pijus in Chinatown today, then Hong Kong style boba/bubble tea, walked around a bit and found myself some dried seasoned cuttlefish while they played Leslie Cheung's "Monica" in the snack store.
Now it's late at night, my head's in a bit of a funk, and all I want is to listen to ear candy cantonese pop ballads. Thank God for RTHK online show archives.

...youre right next to me, but i need an airplane... i heart you my love, leaving tomorrow...
Oh my god! I knew you were leaving soon, but it still comes as a surprise.
Just got your postcard yesterday. Thanks for the magazine clipping. Her dress does look hideous. :P I guess I catch you when you get home...
(Love you too!!)
p.s. it's one of my favourite tori songs
one of my favorites too, and one of the few i know by heart... im already in germany and hurting quite some. you know how that is
Much hugs to you, sweets! I know it always hurts a bit to leave places, even if it means going back to another place... The shift is tough, but just know that your friends will still be there, even if the distance and interaction changes. At least, I'm optimistic... you can't hold on to everything and everyone, but the ones that matter never go away.
And look forward to new things too! That's usually helpful.
(It's taking me way too long to get in gear, and it's bloody frustrating. But I'll get there, SOON. Gah!)
