five star hotels

(December, 2005. Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.)

Work tomorrow, and for the rest of the week, starting with assisting a photographer at a fashion shoot in a hotel suite/balcony/around there. (Not this hotel, which is the Peninsula, but *this* hotel.)

Still, nothing in my mind beats the Peninsula for old world charm and class, and afternoon tea in the Lobby cafe is still one of my favourite things on earth.

It's really not that glamourous when you're hulling an electric generator up and down stairs and getting bruises all over your shins. ^_^;

I'm hoping being indoors might make this time a little less like I'm helping someone move house, though call time is 9am and end time is midnight, and this goes on for a week... am a bit nervous but excited, and hope I do well!
