laundry day

(October, 2006. Astor Place, New York.)

Done with work! Many bruises on shins, look like battered wife. Also v. tired, slept till 2pm today. A week's worth of laundry awaits.

Make note to self Mimi: "on next job, must have shin guards". I'm not kidding, either. They have slim ones nowadays, since today's footballing youth can't stand the old-school large, Hector & Achiles-style ones anymore.

Kitty luv - Batterdipped and deep fried! Still a bit tired, and eyes are v. dry plus sneezing a bit... possibly allergies?? What's going on, am I allergic to my home town? Glad you like the picture, darling. I adore you too! And I miss you much. Hope the road's been kind to you. *hughughug*

Pijus - Thanks, I look into that. Many of the bruises have faded mostly, but it's 85 degrees F here and I feel a bit embaressed running around in cropped pants. :P

Alergic to Hong Kong?! Who would have thought? A city where the air is pure and crystaline, where one's gaze is unobscured by a hint of particulate to the very horizon! No, Mimi, I think not.

What's been kicking you in the shins? That electric generator, or something else?

Pijus - Oh Good God. It was so hazy last week, I'm surprised we managed to get any shots of the skyline!

It just seems like it's getting hazier and hazier year after year... they say it's the pollution that's being blown south from mainland China. Been using eyedrops non stop. x_x

Darker - The electric generator for one, and any number of boxes, equipment, etc. I was hulling a box and the producer looked at me and said, "That's bigger than you!" Probably not actually bigger, but it was pretty big. ^_^; I feel like I've helped somebody move their entire apartment 4 times in a row or something.
