(November, 2006. Upper East Side, New York.)It only took a few days, but the tree across the street is now bare except for a few stragglers. I've just had my first sips of hot apple cider this year a few minutes ago and feel like I'm very late to the party. I wonder if there's any foliage left to see if I drove out of town?
