Aw........Sooo sweet of you to put my pic up and remembering my b-day! Miss you tons here! Can't wait to tell you how I spent the weekend (including din with mom & dad!!) But I aam really miserable now cos I had the flu n am really sick and hugging my desk at work today. Anyhoo hope everything's going well on your end and March wedding is def happening!!! Arghh!!!! Didn't think I would be a March bride think I am more like a December girl!!!

-Evie- I am web browsing all day n think I have picked the theme for my wedding ...it's going to be the flower peony, I'll pick a nice peony motif for the wedding invites, and then the daytime wedding will be white peony, and nite time banquet will be pink peony...peony also symbolises happy marriage in western culture, or "the prettiest" in Chinese culture and I think it is very Pretty and one of my fav flowers. White peony is very "western" but pink peony is very "chinese" (think chinese paintings)so it's the perfect blend between western and eastern and I am going to keep it VERY simple and very sleek...good idea?
I love peonies too! They might be my favourite flower as well. I saw some really nice ones this spring/summer, mostly white/very pale pink, but the edges of the petals are dark pink... *^-^* Sounds like a good plan. Also, I think chinese peonies and western peonies are a little of a different breed?
Oh oh, for the invites, if you want it to look really nice, we should get Jamie to design it. I don't think she has rates yet (her shop isn't even up and running), but she's really good. We can probably give her some lai see? (check her own wedding site: http://www.jamiedarrell.com/ )
