Um, did you make this look like you shot it, or is photographic aesthetic really genetically determined, and your Father also like vignetting, soft lighting, and desaturated colours!?
You know what, I kinda freaked out when I found this picture. First reaction was: I wish I shot this! :P I think it's more of an accidental overlap of shooting styles in this case... though of course, you're more than welcome to argue for aesthetic genetics. :P
